The most value for money portable professional grade film camera today.
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich This is a wonderful modern film camera. It folds down to a very compact size, so that it can go together with your DSLR to trips. It has the convenience of a modern, accurate metering that you can trust. It shoots 6x6 and 6x7, two of the most beautiful formats on the 120 film. The shutter is dead quiet, so you are not intrusive at all, and you can handhold the camera by an extra stop or two. Lastly, since this camera is still in production, you can be assured of quality service and parts from Fujifilm.
Things that could have been better? Well, it would be nice if the lens can be folded with a thin UV filter in place. UV filter is useful as a protector, but it is also very much needed when shooting in high altitude locations where UV rays lower image contrast.
That's about it! Every film photographer should get one of these!

Beautiful little gem!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich The camera is so well made by today's standard - hefty yet compact. I'm surprised at how bright the view finder is!
However, due to its age, many of them will require a good round of servicing, such as cleaning and realigning the rangefinder, replacing the light seal, and lubricating the aperture and shutter dials. The cost of servicing is likely to exceed the cost of the camera. But it's well worth the cost - for after which the camera will last a few more decades.
And since servicing is almost mandatory for a camera this old (unless you manage to find a unit that has just recently been CLA'd), it's more cost effective to get one at a lower price, even if it comes with less than pristine cosmetic condition, than to blow a whole lot of money on one that looks good on the outside.
