Blue Apatite—WOW!
I started my watercolor journey by following the advice of seasoned painters: always use the best paper, paints and brushes you can afford. I began investing in Daniel Smith and have never looked back. Blue Apatite, my latest DS “find” is a beautiful, granulating light/medium blue that I know I will use often in both my abstract and landscape work.

Heartwarming and personal
I listened to the unabridged audiobook version and I have to say that I'm glad I chose to listen to it rather than read it. By listening to the book, I truly felt as if I was having a conversation with Nicholas and Micah Sparks. Funny, sad and insightful are just a few words that descibe this memoir. The backdrop of the two brothers taking a three week trip around the world renewed and solidified a bond so strong and so filled with love and respect, a bond that had seen them through loss and heartache, joy and triumph. It's a very good book.

Keep the Queens Handy!
This is chick-lit at its funniest. Keep this book handy when you have a really lousy day/week/month and haul it out and read it. Better yet, pick up the audiobook read by the author like I did. It was a HOOT! I then bought the paperback for a good friend who also loved it. This book is all about endearing and enduring friendships that survive all the joys and disappointments of life.
