Replaced out of balanced fan
My original fan had a terrible vibration in it since the day the camper was new. I decided after 4 years of living with it to try and balance the original fan. In doing so I broke it so it needed to be replaced. This fan looked exactly like the original except it was made in the USA where as the original was made in China. I'm not suggesting anything just stating what was stamped on the parts. Once installed this fan has absolutely NO vibration. Before, you could see the entire fan motor shake and vibrate around. With this new fan you could read the serial number (small print) on the motor while it's running. It's a night and day difference. Now you hear the air moving more than the motor itself which is the way it should be. Overall it wasn't too hard to replace. I had to take some sand paper and lightly sand the motor shaft to remove some rust so the new fan would slide on easily. Removing the old fan was probably the hardest part. Since I had already destroyed the original fan I used some pliers and pried it off. If you have any vibrations in your fan motor I would suggest giving this fan a try.
