Under-rated Disney film
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich My two year old loves this movie. He'll come to me and ask, "Mommy, watch Boog, please?" (Boog is the main character.). It's a shame that this movie didn't do better in the box office because that pretty much sealed that there wouldn't be a sequel. But the thing I like about this is that it's not so full of musical numbers every five minutes, it relies on it's own humor and storyline, and it's not some over-dramatic love story. It is what it is: a fun, humorous kids' movie that doesn't take itself too seriously or try to change the world with a message. It's only real purpose is entertainment, not a kajillion tie-in products, a multi-million dollar soundtrack song by an aging contemporary adult artist nor a big, flashy soundtrack at all. It's fun, it's quick, and isn't 45 minutes of song.
(Can ya tell I'm tired of Celine Dion, Elton John and U2 being in every kids' movie I watch? lol).

I'm not crazy about video games, but I like this one
I am not a big fan of video games. Our nine year old is hooked on them it seems. So when my husband purchased this one for our two year old, I thought, "here we go again". However, it's nice. It allows our two year old to play and hang out w/our nine year old. The nine year old likes the games, the two year old likes that it's a CARS game.
Also, when just the two year old wants to play, he can just drive around Radiator Springs w/out having to worry about winning or losing. He just gets a kick out of driving it around.
All in all, I'd say it was a much more successful purchase than I thought it would be and I don't mind it nearly as much as I thought I would lol.

NFL Fever 2003 for XBox
This game is BY FAR my favorite football game ever! I've tried a LOT of different games and this one outscores them all! The players move more smoothly than the players in Madden.
CONTROLS are a LOT easier than Madden '08, and you can adjust them to your own desires.
DYNASTIES: Play a single game or build a dynasty league! Even unlock great dynasty teams of the past for special exhibition games.
CREATION: Create your own players, faces, padding/equipment, plays, teams and even stadiums! Control the weather or windspeed if you want.
FREE AGENCY: Deal with free agency, drop/trade players, extend contracts, trade with other teams, receive trade offers from other teams, trade draft picks, deal with salary cap, VERY VERY REALISTIC! When I first got this game, all I wanted to do was play. Now I spend more time having fun with the wheeling and dealing and trading of players/picks et cetera and I have a BLAST doing it!
DRAFT PICKS: You even have to scout out the new class of draft picks every year, find out what your team needs are and draft players accordingly. Or draft that superstar rookie QB to trade him to another NFL team that has the RB you want. LOTS of different strategies here. Even trade your draft picks with other teams for players and/or draft picks!
SPECIAL EFFECTS: Play the replay with true 360 degree imaging. Zoom in, rotate the camera whatever you want! Save the best for highlights later on. Listen to the announcers call the action, hear the bone-crushing hits on the field, or set the audio for the stadium announcers or all three! There are even reflections on the helmets and footprints in the snow!
CALLING THE PLAYS: Change the routes your receivers take, change the hot routes if you want, call audibles at the line, even create your own set of plays for offense AND defense! (I love the blitz plays I've created!) Even reverse the plays given for the game.
PLAYERS: Create your own, use the real guys in the game, unlock dynasty greats from the past! The players' skill levels go up and down according to how well they play. If your QB throws five INTs in a game, you might find his skill level dropping! If your RB runs for 100 yds and 2 TDs, his status will rise! (And so will his price when his contract is up!)
All in all, the absolute best football game I've ever played. This kicks games like NFL Blitz, Madden, and NFL 2K3 to the curb! The action is fast, the hits are STUPENDOUS, the amount of stats you can compound is astounding and the realism is simply amazing. I LOVE this game! So much so that when my disk got scratched, I bought a brand new one on eBay.
Now, I will warn you that the NFL FEVER 2004 version isn't as good. The action in the '04 version isn't quite as fast, but the 2003 version ROCKS!
