Merle's Door, lessons from a free thinking dog
This book is a wonderful example of how we can build a strong bond with dogs. The content is both informative and the story fascinating. For every person that has loved and cared for a dog they rescue, never knowing the dog's past history, this is a great inspiration of trust and compassion.
I was so terribly sad at the end (and cried all over the book)of the book both for the passing of Merle who lived a great life full of adventure that any dog would love, but also to finish a great story. It will be hard to find something so compelling to read about a man and his dog. A true classic.

Moon Handbook Glacier National Park
We met some interesting people while hiking in Glacier Park, they had this book, since we were all locals and visit often I thought another source of information is always good in case we are missing anything. Book describes hikes and trails well but is a little dry, I would have liked more adjectives, like stunning or incredible but maybe that's just me.

Slumdog - a masterpiece
What more can you say about a movie that swept the board at the Oscars? Truly a moving and relevant work that is touching on every level. I have watched it 3 times and enjoyed every time. A movie for today and always.
