Older transceiver a great value
Great beacon. Just completed a companion rescue class with this and a tracker 2. The main difference is in search mode. BCA tracker could sense another beacon about 40m away where the Tracker 2 could sense it at around 55m. The tracker 2 also has a third antenna that kicks on during a pinpoint search, boosting its accuracy. This beacon doesn’t have the newest technology out there but it’s a good value for getting into the backcountry.
