Great Writing transformed into TV series.
Take a classic writer who pleased readers with his humorous stories of a forgotten time of innocence: P.G. Wodehouse. Take a couple of fine actors and some good script writing: Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. And blend with some really excellent videography. What you have is some wonderful family entertainment.
This series brings to life the essence of Wodehouse's stories about a friendly, bumbling idle-rich Englishman and his super smart and dedicated personal valet as they get mixed up in all sorts of hilarious quandaries in the early 20th century. In the end, Jeeves big brain helps them get things sorted out all right. Read the books, then see them played out on screen.
