a good all a round general purpose lens
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I am using this lens to replace a Tamron 18-270 (gen1) and Canon 17-85 lens. It is much smaller than the Tamron making it easier to keep on the camera. It produces good sharp images and macro images. although it is a bit soft wide open but when comparing those 18mm shots between the three lenses I find very similar results. and the Tamron 270mm images are also very soft, this one is not at full length of 250mm. this is my first Sigma lens and I must say i am very impresses, this lens is a good all a round general purpose lens that can be left on the camera 90% of the time. I can't wait to travel with it.
