John Jakes is Fantastic!
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich The Bastard by John Jakes is the start of a 7 book series named the Kent Family Chronicles. It is wonderful Pre-Revolutionary War novel beginning this great series. The story starts in France and follow Phillipe Charbeneau through a trouble life in a journey to America in a time when America is strugling to find its self. Jakes is absolutely incredible at creating characters in a true event and time emphasizing the important events in time as if the characters where there without affecting the events.
The book will make you search your local library for The Rebels, the 2nd Volume of the Kent Family Chronicles!
Highly Recommend!

Russel Crow in a Western he can do it all!

Crow plays an outlaw being chased and brought in by Bale a bounty hunting former soldier who's out to show his son what a good and honorable man he is. Crows character an outlaw with no heart and ice in his veins befriends his captor and in the ends helps him fullfil his promise to his son. This movie makes any man proud!

This movie is embarrassingly funny!
6 von 8 finden das hilfreich The 40-year-old Virgin is an absolutely hilarious movie about a man, who at 40 is still a virgin, and knows very little about women, his friends at the electronics store attempt help him lose his virginity, while he is falling in love with a women he meets, and doesn't know how to tell about his 'situation.' This movie is very entertaining because Steve Carell has the ability to embarass himself and make you laugh and feel embarassed for him. Very entertaining!!!
