Starter textbook for PLC
Well written, chapters are organized very well. If you are interested in this subject then I would definitely recommend this book to read as starter textbook for PLC. For advance level use "Programmable Logic Controllers: An Emphasis on Design and Application" ISBN: 0976625903

Well written practical textbook for analog interfacing
Well written practical textbook for analog interfacing of sensor, chapters are organized very well. If you are interested in this subject then I would definitely recommend this book to read.

Very bad textbook for PLC's
The book has only perfunctory description for PLC's. There is not methodology how to design Sequential Logic control circuits. There is many mistakes in ladder logic. No deep information for state diagrams and SFC Grafcet. This is the worst textbook for PLC's. There are so many better free textbooks on Internet about PLC's for example http://www.eod.gvsu.edu/~jackh/books/plcs/ . Never buy this book. No waste your money.
