Endless possibilities from a an amazing workhorse that's easy & fun to use!
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich Having been a Canon photobug dating back to my first Canon SLR (The old Canon EF) in the late 1970s, my opinion may be a bit jaded but without a doubt, this camera does everything it promises and thensome! My reason for purchasing this model had more to do with backing up my first-generation xti than anything else but having stated this, I will admit even after I get the old girl back from Canon following her tune-up, I may never choose to use her again!
This model offers a much faster response/recovery time when processing shots and the HUGE 3.0 multi-position display is the big difference-maker for me as I take an average of 1,ooo exposures for each case I work on. Being able to easily see every detail in the shot I have just taken makes my job of being a forensics photographer much easier and far-more efficient now that I don't need to take several shots to insure I got the BEST photograph possible.
The added feature of HD video is another big plus this model offers and I am interested in testing this feature out soon, as it could help me eliminate the use of my SONY HD video camera in the near-future. Imagine getting that previously-impossible video close-up with a 500 or even 1500-IS/USM lens that was impossible to capture until now! The possibilities are truly endless!
Although this particular model has since been replaced by the successive xti-4 and now the 5, there are minimal improvements in the "guts" of what these models offer over the xti-3 and why I chose to save some bucks by making this investment. The only word of caution I would offer is to be weary of extending the digital display when using this camera. Keep in-mind this display is connected to the computer of the camera by hair-thin circuitry which is susceptible to dislocation or even severing through constant use. While it is a worthy feature to have, it should in my opinion be used sparingly and only when necessary if you want to keep this camera (or any such camera with this feature) in top-working performance over the many years it is designed to serve your needs.

Finally! A product that not only works as designed, but is of great quality too!
In the nearly quarter-century our family has owned Weimaraners, we have invested in nearly EVERY possible contraption ever invented to make the chore of cleaning up after "Fido" anything less than pure drudgery. We have purchased a doggie Dooley, we have purchased disposable pooper-scoopers/bags, we have bought expensive spring-loaded one-handed "grabbers" and of course, we first began this journey by the old-fashioned method of using the garden spade shovel! (We all know how much fun that is gang, right?)
Well yesterday, after just a two-day wait after payment, my end to this lifelong nightmare arrived at my door. It is simple to assemble, is made of durable PVC resins, stands at over three feet so you don't have to constantly bend over! The bin drops right down to the ground with the least amount of effort, stays flat allowing you to rake Fido's end-trails right into the plastic bag which you line the bin with so as to avoid leaving remnants of the event behind and keeping the bin spotless and odorless forever! An added bonus are the clips located on either side of the bin which keep the bag well-secured until you unwrap it, tie it in a knot and toss it either in the garbage or bury it where everything will decompose over time.
All you need add to this kit is the plastic bag from the grocery store you would otherwise drop off to be recycled the next time you go shopping. (That is of course provided you don't live in San Francisco where it is now illegal to use such bags! lol!)

Easy to install, but lacking in performance
Although I had my mechanic install this device, the basic instructions that come with the hardware appear to be accurate. It took less than 5 minutes for my mechanic to install, but then again, he already had the bare wire lead from what once was my "third" brake light at the top of my hatchback.
