Most Durable and easiest to repair.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I’ve had 2 2wd Slash’s on 3s. They don’t pull hills without a running start.
I’ve had 3 Vaterra Twin Hammers, on 3s, in 4s, and and Upright shock upgrade on 4s. Never used the 2 speed tranny, they roll a LOT and they break.
I now have 4 4x4 Slash’s all on 4s Batteries. 2 HCG, and 2 LCG.
This is what HAS to be upgraded to make a Real Off Road Toy outta a Slash 4x4:

TBS, when only the Best will do.
Great patch antenna. Does a great job completing the LaForge V4 diversity receivers. Use the 45* SMA elbow and it sits tight.

Nice build, went on Smooth,... let’s see how they last....
Nice Job on The Machining. Nice BLACK powder coating. Studs are marked “China” (that can be Good or Bad). Lug nuts have proper 14/1.5 pitch.
Note: BEFORE you start, make sure you have a ½” drive, DEEP 6 side socket. You have to Torque the lugs to 120lbs. (So do you have a Torque Wrench?)
Use a drop of BLUE lock-tight on the original studs. Tightening the rear is No Problem when the other wheel is on the ground. On the Front, I used a long breaker bar in between the studs and to the ground. That kept the hub from spinning while setting Torque.
15mm front/rear pushed the Tires of my 2014 CTS-V Coupe right to the outter edge of my Fenders. Just like a Corvette.
