Does just what it said on the tin!
Fits the job really well. I needed an external drive for my MacBook as my old external hard drive from my pc in an "Integral" SATA case could not store my Windows stuff from my "Windows" partition and my Mac stuff backup. This drive didn't fit in the Integral so bought an ESATA casing to suit and it works a treat, backing up my Mac every time I use it at home! It is quiet and I forget it's there at all.
This is a later type of drive than my old Time Machine drive, so I'm keeping up to date and this should last for a few years.
