Very nice product
After a week of usage I'm very impressed with the Garmin 1490TV.
The unit build quality is very good and it's obvious that high quality materials were used for the construction. Navigation and route calculation is also what I expected and the map detail are displayed very smoothly during driving. The unit locates satellites much quicker than my old Nuvi 200W used to and the big display is also much appreciated.
The main reason I bought the 1490TV was for the reverse camera feature and I'm very satisfied with that. The TV function doesn't work in my area, but I knew that it won't since it was intended for europe anyway and not remote parts of South Africa.
