LOGIK L32HE20 32" HD Ready LED TV - Damaged Box

Great value and versatile
Probably one of the last non-smart TVs. I use it primarily with a Five TV stick and it starts up quickly, displaying a "Logik" logo on startup. This is amazingly light (it felt like they'd delivered me an empty box!) and was therefore easy to mount on a 10x10cm wall mount. The bezel is thin so it looks great and fits well in the corner of the room. Unlike lots of more current TVs, there are a huge range of inputs on this which makes it great for using with my retro computers (RF, Component, Composite, Scart and HDMI ports). Image quality is very good and the menus allow lots of possible configuration. Sound is fine too. Hard to beat for the price.

fine, but not as good as an older version
This one doesn't seem as efficient as our old version which recently died. The paddle breaks up food, which didn't happen with the old one. You can see the entire contents moving round in a single lump, only occasionally breaking up when something happens to hit the small knob near the handle. The design of the pan, which is higher in the middle and should stop stuff leaking underneath, is superior, as is the method of paddle attachment. The paddle shape is obviously inferior since it doesn't flip over the food when it rotates. It doesn't seem to run as hot as the previous version so stuff takes bit longer to cook. The timer system is overly complicated but works fine once you have worked out how to use it. The beeps that you hear when the timer ends are no where near loud enough - another bad design choice. Our previous version had a simple timer and was much louder and easy to hear outside the room. The worst thing is that when it's not being used, the display backlight is on and the LED segments whizz around in some kind of standby routine. This lights up the kitchen at night. Seems like a waste of energy to me, and especially stupid these days. This would indicate the the power supply is fully active too, and thus more likely to be the part that dies first. The additional basket is a must-buy and we use it all the time. Still, when the last one broke we really missed it - we wouldn't be without an Actifry!

not what you'd expect as "satin" - shinier on the inside and rough texture
sold titled as "satin" but actually made from an itchy dull rough textured polyester which is shinier on the inside.
