aural protection
good fit tight if under kevlar. does reduce noise levels but not good at picking up voice commands but strangely they do pick up bird song and amplify that instead. overall they are a good deal. instructions for battery replacement took a bit of time to figure out. but simple in the end. ie pull off ear pad put in batteries then replace pads.
