Excellet quality / price item
This is an excellent set. Although, a 3/8 drive adaptor for your 1/2 is needed.

Good parts with a poor voltage regulator
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought this kit to rebuild my car's alternator. All parts are good quality but the voltage regulator is very bad. When engine is idle, you will notice the car lights sparkling, which means the voltage is not stable. This will mess with the car electronics sooner or later. To solve this, I've exchanged the brushes from the new voltage regulator to the old Bosch one. Everything is fine now.

Pierburg? Well, you should read this
I bought one of these for a '97 BMW E39 525TDS but it's not Pierburg (or is it?).
Well, it seems Pierburg does not produce this MAF anymore. They handled the manufacture of these MAF's to i2s so, you will find a high quality MAF inside a box with Pierburg brand all over it but the MAF is made by i2s. Besides this, it is exactly the same in every detail that Pierburg once produced.
Do not buy cheap ones, as I did before. - The car was having a huge consumption, poor acceleration, and unstable idle until I bought this MAF. Now, everything works perfectly.
I do recommend this product.
