Indoor surveillance camera with severe drawbacks
I bought this camera for indoor security in mind. The box contained the camera, a CD and items for wall or ceiling mount. The feel of the camera is quite cheapish and plastic, but still sturdy enough. The base ring is easy to take off so you can mount the camera without much difficulty.
Contrary to expectations, the camera isn't fully PoE compliant and it requires an active PoE splitter to lower the PoE's 48V to 12V, or a separate 12V power adapter in order for camera to work.
Setting up this camera is a bit of a nightmare. It has no clue of DHCP, so you can't just plug it in your network and expect to bring up a web page to configure it. First you have to connect it directly to your computer and dig up the PDF document to find out what IP the camera is using and then you are greeted by a nifty, but slowly loading authentication page. Once you get past the page you arrive at another page where you can choose only CAM 1 and between two streams, the Main stream and Sub Stream. To see the stream, you need to have Quicktime plugin installed in your browser, which, at the time of writing, was no longer supported by Apple. You can still get the latest version and install it in IE, but be warned: IE11 will make using the camera's web page difficult due to security restrictions.
The picture quality is very decent. Clear, but with minor noise in picture that gets a lot worse in low light condition before the camera switches to black & white imaging. The stream is extremely laggy, about 2-3 seconds behind, so it is only suitable for recording.
The web interface in the camera offers no administrative functions whatsoever. To change any camera settings, you need to run a program from the CD, called CMS, add the camera to the panel and then hope to find the right button to make changes to the camera. The interface on the program is uninformative and sketchy at best. Finding the right place to do changes to the camera settings is a game of luck. I stumbled upon the possibility to change the camera's IP address by complete accident. There were other programs on the CD as well but I left them as they were.
Testing whether this camera works with iSpy program remains to be seen and is out of the scope of this review, but it's the make or break-situation that determines if this camera is usable at all. The picture quality and ease of installation were only things that raised this camera to a two-star rating.
Personally, I think buying this camera was a mistake. Your results and conclusions may vary.

Arrived, but not useful
The product arrived without problems and the package was in good condition.
It's lightweight, the collar fits my dog nicely and I like the overall design.
However, 2G network-SIM cards are non-existent with all of my wireless provider. I bought one prepaid 4G-SIM cards in hopes it reverts using 2G network as it can revert to 3G and EDGE, but it didn't work, didn't even try.
So, it's one of those nice looking things that will just go collect dust and eventually will be recycled. The only consolation is that the collar is useful.

I use it with my smartphone. It works well with the enclosed software but I use Torque as it's my personal favorite. If you do the same, just remember to disable "Fast Communication" in Torque's settings. For some reason that mode slowed down my PID read speeds drastically (about 3 PIDs/sec). Without the mode, I got 7-8 PIDs/sec on my vehicle, which makes it practically realtime.
