Great tuner upgrade for my Epiphone Les Paul Florentine
The crappy stock Epiphone vintage keystone tuners were constantly going out of tune so I bought these as a replacement. I also picked up the Stew Mac Rear Peghole Reamer so that I could more easily open the existing holes to accommodate the new tuners. The tool worked like a charm, I dropped in these new Grovers and now my guitar actually stays in tune! The look better than the old ones too, so I'm all set.

Essential Tool!
I bought this tool so that I could upgrade the crappy stock tuners on my 2014 Epiphone Les Paul Florentine. Very easy to use with my hand drill - I clamped down the headstock and propped up the guitar body using pillows so the headstock would be nice and flat on the table. After taping the bit so that I wouldn't go to far and sing the drill's slowest speed, I carefully (and nervously) started drilling. The tool/bit actually self-centered itself in the existing hole and cut a clean, perfect hole. I then dropped in my new Grover tuners.
GET THIS TOOL if you're nervous about upgrading your tuners like I was. You'll be glad you did!
