Good Ceramics, Poor electronics...
18 von 18 finden das hilfreich The Ceramic parts of this basin, fountain is really good quality and hard wearing. It's colour also fits perfectly in a natural environment. The main thing that lets it down is the solar panel. If you lived in a country where there is 100% unobstructed sunshine this will work great, but in the UK and Europe the little solar panel it is supplied with is just not strong enough. It needs to be in absolute sunshine in order to work fully and does not do anything during cloudy weather.
I really liked the design and idea of the fountain so I bought an extra (larger surface area and greater wattage) panel from ebay, and then spliced this (I am an engineer) together with the existing panel and it now works perfectly even during dim cloudy weather. It is a shame that you have to alter the fountain to perform as promised.
For anyone who is interested, you need to get a 6V solar panel of 10 watts or greater if you want to attempt the modification yourself.

Great cheap screen, perfect for the job!
Great little screen! I bought this to convert it into a waterproof display for my hot tub. This was the best screen for the job as the heat given off by it was negligible, so I just sealed everything with Silicone and now I have a waterproof display for the fraction of a purpose made one!
I wouldn't advise just anyone to do this, unless you know what you're doing, it can prove to be quite a shocking experience!

Sony (MSXM8GSX) Memory Stick Duo Pro - Review
This type of Memory sticks are excellent replacements for the normal 32Mb ones that you normally get with a PSP. The 8Gb sticks offer much more space, especially if you want to have all your Mp3's and movies on your PSP. You can ofcourse get the 16Gb or even 32Gb ones, but your battery will die before you can listen to all that music or movies! The only problem that I found is that loading times for playing games from the Memory stick can be quite long, but that is probaply the PSP's (I tested it on 1000, 1003 and 2000 models) fault because when I copy data from my PC I get normal USB2 speeds.
