Very average GPS but inexpensive and it can get you from point A to point B
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich My GPS broke and I needed a new one quick! I can't get anywhere without one (haha) I already have the charger for the Garmin 200 so I bought it again. It's a trusty and easy to use GPS. I have seen other GPS brands and I know that Garmin has the easiest screen to use. I find the tomtom's screen to have poor accessibility. However, I have two complaints about the Garmin. First, it announces when you need to turn but it doesn't say the street name like many other GPS devices do. It just says turn left in 0.2 miles. So if you are in a city with a street to turn down every couple of seconds it can be frustrating. Tomtoms announce the street name before you turn, I think this is a great feature that Garmin should have utilized. My other complaint with the Garmin 200 is that it takes forever to find your location (via satellite). One it finds you, you are pretty set, it is unlikely it will lose your signal.Thus, you need to wait in your car anywhere from 2-6 minutes for the signal to find you, whereas new GPS can find you within seconds. Keep in mind however, the Garmin 200 came out in 1997 or so I'm sure they have updated their new products.
