A Delightfully Delectable Collection Of Superb Recipes!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Even if you have never read one of Brian Jacques' memorable tales, once you have picked up this charming cookbook, with its engaging poems and endearing stories, you will most defiantly be captivated by his friendly creatures (not to mention the simply amazing food!).
This book travels through the four seasons, each with a marvelous feast of course! From the Spingtide Sunfeast and Summer Orchard Picnic Tea, to the Autumn Harvest Homefeast and the most looked forward to, Abbey Wintersnow Ball!
Featuring such recipes as:
Hare's Pawspring Vegetable Soup,
Abbot's Special Abbey Trifle,
Honeybaked Apples,

A Superbly Believable Fantasy!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich From the time I picked this book up to the time I finished it and put it down (under one day later), I was enthralled at the variety of characters and ideas that this book shone with! I would highly recommend buying or at the very least reading (after which you will most likely buy) this amazing book!
Mrs. Funke paints pictures, feelings, and sounds with words... you can see Dustfinger talking to the fire, you cry when Meggie finds her mother, and you can hear Silvertongue reading magically!
This story is like no other.
It should be savored on a day off with tea or coco : )

A Superb Fantasy That Truly Captures Your Heart & Mind!

I grabbed this book of a library shelf, got home and opened it. I was immediately captivated by the detailed characters, imaginative landscapes, and believable story!
Where else could you find clans of cats, who war and help each other alternately. With an established hierarchy, and a warrior code, these are most definitely are not your average feral cats!
I would most assuredly suggest that anyone and everyone read this book!
P.S. This whole series is very inexpensive at WalMart.
