Olddie but Goodie
I did not get to play this game when it first came out on either the PC or the XBOX (not XBOX 360). I now have a newly purchased used XBOX original console to experience how the game play was. It was not bad at all. The game is the precursor to Oblivion that came out on the PC & XBOX 360. I played Oblivion first on both the PC & XBOX 360.
With all that said the Morrowind (GotY)(XBOX) is a great game to play on the XBOX and has longer load time than on the XBOX 360 which it can play on if you have the Pro or Elite versions. The setting are visually dark compare to other Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games. Sometime to dark to make out the scene you are in or clearly see who you may be fighting(AI Player). I resolved this by brightening the back light/intensity or the TV I was playing on. Side note: most TV's are running brightness at about 50% to conserve electricity and the life of the TV.Back to the game. Even though it is dark visually at time the visual detail that lead to the creation of Oblivion is all their of course not 1080p but very good for the version it was. I think it could do 480p or 720p but don't quote me on those figures. Over all the game play is challenging. This is not a 5 to 10 hour hack and slash game it is more 200+ hours of fun for one time through. You can change character type and extend the game play to close to 1000+ hrs if you play just a few combination of player type ie human or dark elf and many more.
The game is a wide open game that you can walk the entire game without cut-scenes moving you to another location. the Level of detail is out of this world. It was game like this that made the XBOX popular to begin with.
I suggest this game in XBOX or PC form. The XBOX version is no longer made and is getting harder to find a good copy. The PC version is still being sold in the stores. It is your chose to which one you get. I do suggest you use the XBOX 360 to play this game to help eliminate the continual load times of the original XBOX. Other than is one of the best RTS game made to date.

Great Product for a wonderful price.

My wife and I around our late 30's to early 40's can relive some of the music we enjoyed as teens while competing against each other or just playing together in one game. This complete game set allows us to play games together without anything extra needed (console is required of course). It is all wireless so there are no wires everywhere except for the Microphone for the game.
The only drawback I could find with the game is that you could not just practice the microphone part by yourself. You have to have to be playing an instrument to sing the song. This can only be done if you have some mic stand to sing at while playing the guitar. It would be hard with the drums to sing to in my opinion.
This weekend (4-10-09) My nephew is coming to visit for a few day with uncle and aunt (he is 12) and play the band set along with other games. This allows us the ability to have fun with him on his level in a safe environment.
Overall it is a great product that can give the family hour of fun time together. Something that is much needed these days. I would not pay more than the retail price for this product. I was able to get my set for less than half the retail cost with shipping being nominal.
Look at stated quality of the items to determine potential wear on the items. My set had the drums a little used but that was it. Everything else was new in wrappers to include the game. I believe mine was a store exchange.

Best RPG Ever Made for a PC
The video quality is based on the grade of video card you have. I have played it on an Nvidia 5600go laptop video card and graphics are ok. It will put a load on a system like that. But if you have say an ATI 2600 or Higher or a Nvidia 6200 or better then the video/graphics are stunning.
With the video demands out of the way you can truly spend hour playing this game. Regular time from start to finish can be 200 hours of game play or more. With the PC version you can use the tilda "~" key to enter the cheat mode screen while in game play. Look to cheat site for the codes to use. This game has more codes than any other game I have ever played.
The difference with the collector's edition from the regular is the bonus material that comes with the game. The making of DVD video, a replica Septim Coin (the coin used in the game), and a nice faux leather bound 112 page book with the back story for the game so as to give the game more depth in fantasy play.
It you are a dungeons & dragons fan or an turn based fantasy role playing game this is the best PC game out there that emulates RPG play with stunning first person or third person views for your choosing. In my opinion this is better that Fable 2 which just came out by hands down.
