This is one amp that can literally cover all of the musical bases of tone!!
The Hughes & Kettner Switchblade amp is amazing!!! There are many things you look at before purchasing an amp, but the tone of the Switchblade is why you buy an amplifier!! I love the four channels and that fact that they do not share a limiting gain knob. Great design. I also love the contour of the boost for each channel. That's some good stuff! The new TSC design will let you know if one of your tubes is faulty. This could be a life-saver before or during a show. The effects are nice and further enhance the great tones coming out of the speakers. And it's LOUD!!!! What's fantastic is that I can tweak tones and save them as presets!!! How can it get any better? I've owned Hughes & Kettner amps before so I know how reliable they are. This is my favorite amp and I plan on extracting every bit of musical tone out of it over the years.
