Intel's X25-M G2 80GB is a great upgrade
Running on a SSD really enhances the user experience . Boot times are significantly quicker and loading applications is lightening fast. All in all the user experience when using this drive is much better than conventional hard drives. I use SSD drives in all our workstations for OS, applications and documents etc. This allows me to be most productive for the majority of my work. I do supplement the SSDs with large conventional hard drives due to their much lower cost per GB. The Intel installs easily and has been flawless so far.

Intel XEON X5667 - fast and efficient
Purchased this CPU for a Dell Precision T5500 workstation and it has been flawless. Machine is fast and stable, even under extremely heavy loads.

Intel Xeon W3570 3.2 GHz Processor - a great upgrade!
Purchased this to upgrade my Dell Precision T3500 and while an Intel 6 core would have been nice I wasn't ready to drop $1000+ to get in to the game. This CPU is rock solid, WEI is 7.6 under Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and it is a nice improvement at a price that I could accept. Upgrading was easy - after opening the case and removing the CPU heat sink it was as simple as removing the existing CPU and installing the new. I added some Arctic Silver thermal compound to the top of the CPU, reinstalled the heat sink and closed the case up. Booted up and I'm off to the races.
