Great value to get started tying flies
A great value kit to get started in fly tying. The vice is pretty low quality but does the trick and the included materials are enough to get started tying a variety of flies. The bobbin and scissors are decent and do the job well.
If you intend to tie specific flies (nymphs), I think the same amount of money could be better spent on a better vice and more suited material for those specific flies. If you are just wanting to tie a few random flies and get your feet wet, this is a decent option.
Some reviewers indicate that not all of the materials were included, but that wasn't the case with my kit. For those wanting to primarily tie nymphs, this kit does not offer many materials to do so.
