Have the Victory model and the Minox HG with Zeiss lenses; and magnesium chassis...spending this much one can do better...
My 8X56 Zeiss has Schott lenses and they're purged with Nitrogen gas; and they're adequate; I have Minox HG that are magnesium chassis and are purged with argon gas and have Carl Zeiss objectives made by Schott that was purchased by Carl Zeiss.... one can do better; technology for premium glasses have advanced a bit.
Roof prism Carl Zeiss 8X56 should be seen first; they will be 2X more expensive. at least.

The're very good for personal removal of cerumen from the external auditory canal.
If you have good coordination and can blindly place a metal instrument into your ear canal then these are very good tool for removing cerumen from your external auditory canal; remember that the tympanic membrane is nearby and you can puncture and cause permanent damage to your mechanical mechanism for hearing. If one doesn't feel comfortable with this procedure see an ENT physician.
