I Do...
LOVE Lisa Loeb. She's got a beautiful voice, great musical arrangements, and provocative lyrics. And not provocative in the sense of sexual stuff like most of what is put out there today; provocative of thought. She puts real emotion into her lyrics, which makes them relateable at some point during your life. I cannot WAIT for her NEW album to come out soon!

Better the 2nd Time Around
I am a huge fan of Taking Back Sunday's 'Tell All Your Friends', so when my friend loaned me her copy of 'Where You Want to Be', I was excited. Except for one track (#5 With a Bullet),I was sorely disappointed in it, happily returned the disk, and agreed with a lot of online reviews that Taking Back Sunday's attempts past their debut didn't hold a candle to their counterpart Brand New's. My friend insisted last month that I borrow the CD again. She was convinced I would like it, so as part of her birthday present, I did just that. Is it as amazing as their first? No. Was it A LOT better the second time around? Yes, to the point I bought it hoping it'll grow on me after a few more spins. Of the related Long Island bands, Taking Back Sunday comes in 3 out of 3, but they are still clearly talented (and from the right place), so I will keep my mind open.

Became a Cult Favorite for a Reason!
The Fan Remix is all well and good, but the original is also wonderful and deserves some love. If for nothing else than the unedited Rex Manning exit :) The fashion is wonderfully nineties, the angst is completely relatable, and the music stays with you for days afterward.
