My search has ended!
After weeks of research and even buying and returning a few range bags, I finally found the one suited to my needs. Perfect size, wide top access, modifiable dividers, lots of padding and internal and external compartments, high quality all around. And a water bottle holder that's actually deep enough! See the youtube review of this bag, and you won't even look at another bag for the range.

Too Expensive
Nice, simple design that works well, but too pricey for what it is.

Poor Quality
Poor quality audio and video. For a couple of minutes, the two are not even in synch! $15 including tax and shipping would have been more like it, and then only because there's not, apparently, a good quality print of the rooftop performance yet available. When there is, I'll buy it.
