Great Photo Printer with Extra Features
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Shopping around for a photo printer can be a bit difficult, but I believe the Epson Styles Photo R200 is a good printer for those who cannot afford more advanced models. The Epson is pretty easy to install under both Windows (via the included install CDROM) and Linux (using the latest Gutenprint drivers). For any photo buffs, it comes with 6 different ink tanks, allowing for a wider variety of colors as well as the option to refill only the colors more often used. The R200 cleanly printed on both Photo paper and Printable cds, although one may want to get sealing spray to make sure then print does not smudge under moisture.
Some of the best features of this printer include:
- CD/DVD Printing Via included CD/DVD Tray
- Photo Printing
- Large Color Spectrum
- Configurable Print Options such as an enhanced Preview
There are, however, some caveats:
- Printing to CD/DVD takes a little skill to master because the tray is not fed on occasion.
- Limited color scheme when printing onto CD/DVD, although this can be surmounted via image importation
- Epson Printing software remains in background, slowing the system down slightly
All in all, the R200 is a fairly good printer, with options that most models sold in stores do not have. Auto-CD loading would be a nice feature, but printers such as these usually run in the thousands. For any beginning photographers or small CD-Labeling, this is the printer to buy.
