Extremely useful
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a Prima Guide and is extremely useful. It is for Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion and provides excellent boss stratagies and easy ways to get the 100% endings making it a easy to use and helpful book.

The game that started it all....
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Wow...Super Mario Bros. opened the door to adventure games on the NES. Metroid blew that door off its hinges with a Missile. The ability to wander around a planet gathering weapon upgrades and other items while defeating the Space Pirate leaders and delving deeper into the planet. A game like this was never witnessed before on the NES and many gamers loved its easy control and in depth gameply. Today not many people appreciate the influence these great old games had now that games like Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime have taken us to great places and the Wii is on the horizon but I believe we should look at Metroid and Kid Icarus and Super Mario Bros and remember where New Super Mario Bros, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl originally come from.

The new age of handhelds...
1 von 4 finden das hilfreich The Nintendo DS (Dual Screen) was the upgrade to the GBA. And boy what an upgrade! With a brighter backlight you can see the great games clearly. With one Screen you can control your enviorment with it was a breakthrough. Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt was the DS's debut game and showed people exactly what the Touch Screen and Stylus can do. Moving around the Arm Cannon with the Stylus made people demand for more great classics. And they got them. Mario Kart DS was the first game that featured Wi-Fi the ability to play a game with someone else around the world! Wi-Fi opened up new doors to Multiplayer games. The PSP and Xbox iPod followed in the DS's Wi-Fi footsteps but none could accomplish what Nintendo has done. Tetris DS, Metroid Prime: Pinball, New Super Mario Bros.,Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, and Metroid Prime: Hunters pushed Wi-Fi to its limits. Perhaps Metroid Prime: Hunters greatest achievement was the use of the DS Microphone to talk to Friends before and after matches! The ability to use the Touch Screen to aim, look around, and solve puzzles was a great achievement. The use of a Microphone to talk to people, perform Mouth-to-Mouth, and make a balloon fly were some more greats of this fabulous system.
