Beautifully poignant, poignantly beautiful.
The original movie was seen by everyone who ever took a French class in High school or college. It was admired and charming but the singing was dubbed. This concert version is genious in its staging and it utilizes real singers. It remains true to the original in story line.
As both a singer and a former student of French, I was delighted to find this version..
