Kingston Trio Live In Reno 1976
This rare live performance is the only recording of the Bob Shane, Roger Gambill, and Bill Zorn configuration of the Kingston Trio circa 1973-76 (before longtime member George Grove joined the group). It has spirited performances of songs previously recorded by the Trio and several songs they had never recorded before, plus a dose of risque comedy material (mild by today's explicit standards) that's actually quite funny. A must for Kingston Trio completists.

Tom Paxton and Bob Gibson - Navy Pier Auditorium, Chicago
Folk music is often at its best in a live concert setting in that it includes interaction with "the folks" in the audience. This live album by 2 of folk music's most revered legends is a prime example. It's a fine live recording of Tom Paxton and the late Bob Gibson swapping sons, some written by Paxton and some by Gibson, and collaborating on several of them, giving it a warm and informal "Hootenanny" ambiance.
