Pretty good game.
5 von 6 finden das hilfreich I enjoyed the game because of its fun gameplay. You basically run around a completely destructible arena and beat up the other players (great stress reducer). However, once you beat all of the mega-challenges (which doesn't take all that long) there is not really much point in playing the game at all. The multiplayer is a blast. If you can get two or three of your friends and hook them in with a multitap, you can literally sit down, and play it without getting bored for hours. It is great for an occasional multiplayer fight with your friends. While you are playing the mega-challenges, you are driven by the urge to open up more characters and arenas, so it basically keeps you interested until you beat it and have everything open. I say that it is good to add to your collection for when you have a bunch of friends over and you just want to hillariously kill each other, but not much more. BTW: Mario Smash Bros. was better, but you can't get that on ps2 unfortunately. Plus, graphics aren't all that great either. Buy it if you want to, but you may be a little disappointed.

Very Enjoyable
10 von 10 finden das hilfreich After playing and beating the Cabela's Dangerous Hunts games 1 and 2, I was ready for a game by Cabela's devoted to true hunting (not just defending yourself from ravenous rabies infested animals:). Cabela's Outdoor Adventures is defenitely a HUNTING game and not a ADVENTURE game like the Dangerous Hunts games are. Sporting realistic graphics, specific animal behaviors, and tons of great gear to buy and sell, this game is a winner. Strategy really plays out as a key factor in this game. As your adventure continues your player masters skills of stealth, accuracy, resiliance, and strength that can only be earned by playing like a true hunter would. One of my favorite features of the game is that there are several animal species that attack very regularly, really adding some excitement in the midst of quiet strategy. The various levels of difficulty, different game animals, different weapons, and different gear add a huge variety to this game; also, there are many missions and hunts to be completed so this is definitely not a game that can be beaten in one day. The fishing feature was new and different, but it is extrememely predictable. Personally, I don't care much for the fishing feature. Overall, this game was very enjoyable with good graphics, excellent variety, and very pleasing gameplay. I highly recommend it to any hunting fan.

Like the game

Gameplay is pretty entertaining except that there is a very obvious path that you must follow, no choice in where you go like in European Assault. Graphics are pretty good and the overral campaign is entertaining. The different array of weapons really make the battles interesting however certain maneuvarabilities are restricted: such as lying down, or kicking a grenade that is lying on your foot (not a good situation). The AI Japanese are not the smartest people on earth (like they are today:) My personel favorite feature of the game was its multiplayer. You can have AI join in a battle or you can have your friends join in a battle or both. You can have up to eight people running around shooting each other in some pretty sweat battle areas. I have played the battle portion of the game with my friend's for hours. Also, if you have broadband internet, this game is great for online play.
BTW: I wouldn't necessarily consider it an easy game. On the easy setting, it can be pretty easy, but if you put it on the hardest setting, it is nearly impossible to beat. Personally I recommend European Assault more, but this is also a good game worth playing. Buy it if you want to, I did and I wasn't sorry at all.
