What i like about Elvis Aloha from Hawaii was recorded via satellite in 1973,at the time of the broadcast no performer had ever broadcast a live concert around the world via satellite before.The concert was filmed in Honolulu in front of only 6,000 fans but was watched by an estimated 1 billion worldwide on television,the concert was for a local cancer fund which exeeded its fund target by 50,000 dollars.This DVD is Elvis Presley performing at the time in his career when after perfoming live in Las Vegas for nearly 5 years,he also had a great backing band built up over those years which were as experienced in live performance as he was at that time.The DVD covers the concert plus the full concert build up,outakes and rehersals,which were not screened on british television at the time.Thats why i decided to buy this DVD.
