Gave New Life to Schiit Valhalla 2
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I was skeptical at first about tube rolling in headphone amps; how much could tubes really improve the sound? The short version of it: a lot!
The sub-bass was increased from nearly non-existent to having amazing amounts of slam. The mids are crystal clear with it, the highs have air! The experience is something that is super resolving with great imaging, without encroaching on harsh, the sonic signature is perfect for my pairing with HD650s.
TLDR: You need to pick up a pair of English Mullards if you really want the Valhalla 2 to go from bloated and bloomy to dry and resolving.
