Replacement spair wheel carrier gear.
this kit that is supplyed works really well and will save you some money as the new part from ford is well over £100. The replacement of the plastic gear in the spair wheel lifting box took me about 30 mins. All the parts you need are supplyed. It needs some instructions as I had to follow the pictures on the advert but replacement was easy. I added some grease to the components befor rebuilding. fitted it back to the galaxy and tested all works well. The only thing I found was the bolts that are on the edge that is bolted to the car hit the supporting bar. could use some domed bolt heads for those two. It Still bolted up and is tight.
This is a realy good idear and wish I new about it last year when I replaced my old one.
