A couple of years, and a couple of tiers from being pioneers top of the line and newest latest greatest, but for the money a really superior value.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Pioneer was bought out by onkyo a bit ago. This is one of the last home theater receivers designed purely by the pioneer engineers. It doesn’t have the extremely latest features, it is not Atmos. But it is THX! My theater is built to and with THX certifications- this unit drives the speakers well, D3 is an interesting amp, worth reading up on and listening to so you can decide is it “right” for you. The system powers my 7.1 with bi-amped front speakers very adequately for my needs. It will pass a 4K signal just fine- there is still not enough 4K content in the wild... Airplay is nifty, my iPhone holds 125+ Gigabytes-of music so this is a great feature for listening. The Macc sound tuning app works well, indeed better some other sound equalization products I’ve used before. Before you buy any receiver dig really deep into knowledge- some of the acoustic leveling systems in the market won’t actually tune for every speaker. The downside I know for this product is I n all of this genre of receivers they can run really hot really fast, and heat will kill the video card way too quick. Keep at least a foot free in all direction, even better invest in a AC Infinity exhaust/cooling fan to keep the system from running hot. Combined with a heavy duty surge suppression unit and this receiver will do you right! Great price point and super buy!!!
