Pirates of the Caribean, at the worlds end.
Starring: Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, Bill Nighy, Geoffrey Rush, Jonathan Pryce, Tom Hollander, Jack Davenport, Naomie Harris, Chow Yun-Fat Absolutely great film, although lengthy agood mixture of mythology mixed in with the modern day pirate Jack Sparrow. The well known myth of Davy jones locker comes into play, Lordd Cutler Beckett has control of Davy Jones' heart which he has gained from finding Davy Jones chest. It has been Davy Jones job up to now to take the lost souls on to wherever they go when they die. To do this he has an invincible flying dutchman, his ship. With Lord becket having the heart, he now controls Davy Jones and therefore the dutchman meaning he invariably controls the seas. Of course our heroes don't want this so have to bring Jack back from being dead and then enlist the help of the rest of all the pirates. One of the funniest bits was when one of the pirates questioned the book and was subsequently shot by Jacks brother, who also by the way had a shrunken head of their mother. The sea battle is brilliant including the evil tyrants death. The scenes were vibrant and the sounds seem to blast you out of your seat. Maximum effects, maximum sound and a superb character list. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like this kind of thing it is a must watch. I bought it because I loved the previous 2. Friends had said it wasn't very good in comparison so you have been warned. I however thought it was the best of the lot. I especially liked the bit when all of the pirates unite from the four corners of the globe, all hoysting their equivalent to the jolly roger against the kings colours. A must watch I think, and money well spent.
