A Quality and Versatile Product
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich This is an amazing appliance. It is vital for me as I have digestive problems and often have to puree my food. It is powerful and has such a high speed that it can puree anything. When I juice my fruits and veggies, I use the Vitamax to compost the leftover pulp and any other leftovers and egg shells I have saved and add it to my gardens. It will shut itself off as a safety feature if it gets too warm and it is very noisy on the high speeds, but to me that is not a criticism as you run it a very short time. It is one speed, but has a variable speed so it is really more than one speed. You can make soups in it, make slushies and grind up ice cubes or coffee. It is very versatile. I like the idea that you can get parts for it and other sized jars and other blades for coffee grinding, etc. I believe that it is made in America and that is the biggest plus of all!! I was lucky to get this one at a very good price as they are quite pricey, but they last forever and you get what you pay for. I've found that purchasing better quality appliances and paying the higher price makes better sense. I expect that I can hand this one down to my granddaughter and I have already purchased some extra parts in case this model becomes obsolete. You can't go wrong. It will last for years as long as you don't abuse it. Mine was made in the 1990's and has a lot of miles left in it.
