AN ASTOUNDING CANADA TWO VOLUME MONSTER OF A STAMP ALBUM!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich To begin with, this Astounding Canada 2 Volume Stamp Album is no longer made my Harris, but is sold only in Canada under license from Harris to StampWright - Stamps for Collectors, who print it themselves.
This Harris album is really quite comprehensive in that it not only includes Canada proper, but even all of the Phosphor Paper issues, and all of the Canada Provinces (British Columbia And Vancouver Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island) as well as all of the booklet panes of Canada, which have always been quite popular.
The Album itself is quite an improvement over the old "Green" Harris volume, in that it is made in a far more sturdy fashion, as the old "Green" Harris Canada Album used a plastic-type cover that doubled as the binder's resiliency, but after a few hundred openings the front and/or back covers would fall off (A problem with most of the earlier Harris Albums in general). This left the owner of the old volume in a quandary as to how to repair the cover somehow (i.e. Duct Tape, Packing Tape, Book Binding Tape, Cloth Tape etc.) which after time made the stamp album look a bit tawdry. Well not so with this Canada Stamp Album. A lot of thought went into designing this new Canada Stamp Album so that its owner would really not have a need to replace it during their lifetime.
Some may argue that the Scott International Canada Album is better, but I digress, as the Scott album is really quite expensive, as are the Davo Hingeless Canada Albums, which cost a small fortune, but for the money and the quality, the Harris Canada Album is really the way to go.

Beatles 1 - Beatles (The) (CD 2000)
7 von 7 finden das hilfreich This CD is a surefire winner all-around. For those not at all interested at taking a stab at The Beatles individual CDs (or LPs), this is quite an excellent package. All of their 27 #1 HITS from BOTH the United States and the United Kingdom together on one disc! For those who wish to delve a bit deeper into some of The Beatles secondary (or minor)hits, the two compilation Cds (originally on LPs, Cassettes Reel-To Reels,& 8-Track Tapes titled
"The Beatles: 1962-1966" (Red Album), & "The Beatles 1967-1970" (Blue Album)are a real winner, but then again, for those who wish to have just a satisfactory compilation on one disc...The Beatles 1 will fill the bill nicely. Buy a copy and sing your heart out all ye fans of Beatledom!
