John Wayne as McQ
I bought this DVD because I do enjoy seeing John Wayne in other movie genres besides Westerns. Also, this particular movie, McQ, is very seldom seen on regular TV or cable networks.
This movie was made late in John Wayne's career. He didn't move as quickly as he did in his earlier roles, but he still managed to be a bigger-than-life presence in most scenes. You can tell that he still wanted to act, and gave an honest effort as McQ. I would also say that a leading role as this might give you an idea as to what Mr. Wayne may have been like in real life; maybe more so than his Western characters.
The movie itself was a bit lacking in some details, such as not really telling us why some characters were so knowledgeable as informants. But, I still enjoyed watching Mr. Wayne as a big-city cop, and I'm glad I added this movie to my John Wayne collection.

A great compact camera that takes fantastic pictures!

I had planned to make the E-PL2 my main camera, while using the E-PM1 for occasional use as I would a point-and-shoot unit. I have been amazed, however, at the E-PM1 for its excellent construction, fast shooting, and picture quality. For most shots, I have used the E-PM1 with an Olympus 17mm prime lens. This combination has been a pleasure to use. Not only does the lens suit the camera in appearance and handy size, but the sharpness, depth of field and color are fantastic. The pictures taken with this camera are so good, they seem unlikely to come from such a compact camera. I highly recommend the Olympus E-PM1!

Good features, good value in a 7 inch tablet.
I bought this Acer Iconia A100 tablet because it had a lot of good features in a 7 inch size. I especially like the 16GB of internal storage, which gives room for lots of apps. I actually prefer this Acer over the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch. The Acer runs efficiently on the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It also works flawlessly on my home network. The only minor complaint would be the battery life, which averages about 3.5 to 4 hours, maybe more. However, the battery recharges very quickly, so for me, this isn't a big deal. I also like the screen, it is sharp and clear. Overall, I think the Acer is a good value.
