Not a bad phone, but not the best
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought this coming off the m8, so I had some high expectations for the successor to one of my favorite phones.
Good:
The sound is as awesome as ever, and the main reason i wanted the m9.
Performance is decent. Games well, seems snappy.
Screen is hd, which is all i want from a phone.
Metal case feels good in the hand.
Bad:
Battery life is as poor as the m8, if not poorer. With all that extra horse power, i feel like it should have came with a bigger battery.
This thing gets hot, even when you are just watching a youtube video. Kind of ridiculous.
There were more scratches than I was expecting. It does say minor wear, but the discoloration of the gunmetal finish is kind of a bummer.
The charger provides works, but is not factory, and the cable that was sent with mine was junk. didnt work on any of my devices. Come on guys, you didnt even test that the cable worked?
If you like the m7 and m8's fantastic sound, but also want to keep up to date in performance, AND you dont mind keeping it plugged in most of the time, this is a nice phone. But without a battery case or some kind of extra low energy mode, this thing just sucks up juice like its nobodys business.
