Sturdy hold up to hard use.
I actuallt used these bars on my mountain bike to give me a variety of shoulder positions as I have a bad shoulder. Great speed on smoother surfaces was a happy side effect. To make them fit the 25 mm bars I had to grind down the brackets but this worked great. To make sure there was no slippage despite rough treatment I took a piece of an old cloth grinder belt (well worn down) and clamped it into the handlebar brackets. Then I took some chilled superglue (chilled in fridge so it would flow) and squeezed it into the joint, sticking the grinder beltand grit firmly to both sides of the joint. Now I can pull as hard as I want to these bars and they don't slip. I should note I am a 220 lb weighlifter as well as a cyclist. So, once I got the bracket to grip the bars, I was totally happy.
