'Beauty & Whimsy for Everyday Life' is how I describe my art. Whimsy defined: the quality of being slightly odd or playfully humorous, especially in an endearing way.

Oakley Whisker Sunglasses

My First Oakley Experience is Good
I have worn the same RayBans for 30-some years, but they finally needed replacing. I did the research, and discovered that RayBan and Oakley are owned by the same parent company, so broadened my search to both brands. The particular pair I ended up buying were used Whiskers, because there are lots of options for replacement lenses, even though this model is retired. I am impressed with how new these look - certainly a reflection on the former owner, but also a reflection on the brand. They are still sound in construction and finish, and the lenses have no visible marks, which means that Oakley's lens manufacturing produces good lenses. The "ear socks" are, still, in very good shape, as are the nose pads. However, it is nice to know that I can also replace these, if needed. I am a convert to Oakley, and will certainly keep them in mind when next I need or want new sunglasses!

May Not be the Latest, But It's the Bestest!
This is my 2nd xv6875 - had to replace a broken one, and wanted the same. With SPB's Pocket Plus, Phone Suite, & Diary, it's just what I NEED as a professional support device. I don't care for the cutesy large icon look of the latest phones - I know how to use a stylus, and like to have more information/apps on one screen to choose from at one time. Processor could, of course, be faster - but that's not a complaint, just a fact of technology life. Actually, given how many apps I have loaded onto it, and the amount of web access I am doing, it chugs along very well. The physical keyboard is great - easy to use, easy to find buttons I need. The virtual keyboard is a hassle - having to choose either letters or numbers (entering registration codes is a pain), but the hardware keyboard solves that. The speaker quality is quite amazing - I use my phone as a sound machine at night, and am very pleased that I don't have to lug along speakers any more. One complaint is that the stylus is located for right-handers only - if it were at least at the top of the unit, it would be easier to retrieve with my left hand. On the other hand, HTC still does include a leash anchor, so I have drilled a hole in the stylus & added fishing line (so it fits fully back into the silo) and can just let it dangle between uses, instead of having to struggle to put it back all the time. The biggest complaint I have is that the Reset is INSIDE the back cover - ??? One is supposed to remove the stylus, then the back cover, every time the device needs resetting? Yes, there's a software reset, but that doesn't help when the device has frozen. I drilled a hole in the cover so I can avoid that incomprehensible design annoyance. The only other "complaint" I have is that the volume and power buttons on the outside of the case are a little too recessed - I can't easily find them by touch, but it's probably just my old fingers. All in all, I'm very pleased with the xv6875, and I will keep it as long as possible. I've used HTC phones now for many years, and find them to be very reliable, well-built, and functional.

Not ever going to get to play Augusta; this game is a Nice Facsimile!
Bought as gift for hubby; have not yet played it myself; have watched a few moments here and there. Hubby likes it; his comments have been: Nice to see Augusta from ground level to "walk" the entire course. Graphics are great. Fun to think through shots that reflect past Masters play. Hubby has golfed 40+ years and is darn good; I've golfed 20-some years and am pitiful, but we both like these Wii golf games. As in real golf, the key is how YOU adapt to the equipment and conditions, and how you manage your expectations. Also, take time over weeks/months to explore all the complexities - there are a lot of variables.
