If you like martial arts movies at a reasonable price; check this one out.
If you like Van Damme and martial arts movies; this is a must have. It has a lot of the flavor of the foreign genre but still has a lot of the western sheen to it so that it doesn't seem cheesy. I had seen it many years before buying it and the memory of seeing it that long ago had a lot to do with me getting it. Not a movie you would want to watch every day, but I will probably watch it at least once every two months or so (I have an extensive collection of movies). Worth buying, just don't pay too much for it. I got it for less than $5.00 (shipping included). It's worth that. By the way, don't lend it to a friend who is a martial arts nut or you won't get it back.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Another to be a classic Harry Potter movie. Even as an adult, I enjoy these movies. It's a different aspect to an "action" fantasy movie (without all of the violence). I don't have the whole collection, but I will eventually. I like starting with the earliest and watching them in sequence like a mini-series. They have aspects in them that very young children may not understand, but will as they grow older. Along with movies like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, a collection that all ages will like. I think such movies will also encourage the younger set to explore reading (as well as us older folk). Somewhat educational, but fun at the same time. Keep it up J.K.

Dune (new version)
Definitely a keeper. A somewhat different aspect than the original movie. Great action, great characters. It's a movie I'll watch at least once every month or so (I have a large collection of movies). Each watching finds something new. I have the original version and compare the two pretty much evenly. I will like watching one and then the other. Not a sequel, just a different perspective. Makes one wish they would make another version combining the different aspects of the two. A blockbuster in my opinion. If you don't have this in your collection or have not seen it, your missing a great movie experience.
