flexible fixing solution
I have used Seam-Grip many, many times to fix everything from large holes in tents, to torn outdoor clothing, to mending punctures in inflatable mats (like thermarest) to fixing the bladder in my scuba-diving BCD. Brilliant product. Two problems however; it is expensive and worse still, when you open a tube, if you don't use it inside a week or two, it will start to harden on you, unless you store it in the fridge, or in the freezer part of your fridge.

Old-school mobile with physical keyboard
This phone is from 2011 and I want to use it in 2016 as it meets my needs and I prefer to type out an SMS on a physical keyboard rather than a small screen on a modern smartphone. It's also much, much smaller than your average modern smartphone, so meets my needs in many ways & I like it a lot.
