Looked nice for a week
The lighting function stopped working after the first week despite the head being positioned to get plenty of sunlight to charge up.
It still looks ok as an ornament but it is lightweight hollow plastic so don’t leave it outside in windy weather!

An excellent upgrade!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Having read good reviews about this cartridge online, I bought one as an upgrade for an older AT cartridge. It's a little bit fiddly to fit with those small screws & nuts on my RB300 arm, but I did it in about 10 minutes (and thats the first time I have ever changed a cartridge), plus setting up with a stylus protractor & weight gauge another 10 minutes or so.
I am very pleased with the results! I thought my old AT cartridge was good, but the AT440 pulls an increased level of detail from my vinyl, with better channel separation. High frequencies are clearer, bass is tight & deep. It has seemed to benefit from a little "running in" time, but what a great excuse to sit & listen to some of your favourite tunes.
I consider the AT440 an excellent great value upgrade for an older or a budget cartridge, I am well impressed by the improvement in sound quality from my vinyl, while keeping that "listenability" that makes you want to play record after record.

Perfect for the boot loom in a BMW Z3
Good quality kit that will accommodate a range of wire sizes. Easy to fit although the seals are a little tight to push into the plugs once the wires & connectors are in place. I like the fact that the plugs are shaped so only fit together one way, reduces the chances of connecting the wrong wires! Perfect to repair the 9 wire loom in the boot of a BMW Z3.
