"Within the Golden Hour" is golden
Within the Golden Hour is simply magnificent in every way - dancing, choreography, music, just everything - simply heavenly. The Medusa ballet, second on the programme, is perfectly pleasant, and the last one, Flight Pattern, is a bit of a Marmite piece - not my cup of tea at all (too grey, too sad, too depressing, although of course beautifully danced), and yet I know lots of people who simply love it and find it deeply moving and exquisite.
I bought the dvd solely for the Within the Golden Hour ballet, and, despite, being quite expensive (as are most top opera and ballet dvd's), it is so gorgeous that it is worth every penny, and I've already watched it several times.

Wonderful in every way. But it takes a while to get into, more than just a few episodes.
