The Legend of Zelda (NES)
The first in a ongoing great series of games by Nintendo, this is by far one of best games to stand its time and give the player an epic journey over and over again. you will find many helpful and hidden items, plus meet some of the people hiding around Hyrule. The lovely gold cart also adds to the awesome nature of this old game. Anyone who loves Zelda games and/or has never tried it, I would recommend they try it out for their selves. Out on NES,GBA,GC,Wii VC and 3DS store but by far the best on its original console the Nintendo Entertainment System! Know Your Playing With Power! Retro Power!

The SEGA Mega Drive is a must have for retro enthusiasts
The SEGA Mega Drive (Known as Genesis in America). First came out in the UK in 1990. This console is any retro lovers must have console. With classics such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Mortal Kombat and others in its library it makes it a great console to own. Although I personally grew up with a Super NES and I'm more a Nintendo person I find this a great addition to the history of gaming and my own collection. Of course, our PAL versions only run in 50hz, therefore aren't as good as the American/Japanese counterparts, but they can easily be modified to run at 60hz with the same aspect ratio and speed as the American/Japanese consoles. Still though, I think Nintendo was always the one to go for ,with a much better line up of games such as the classic Mario and brilliant Zelda titles. But that is just my own opinion. The Mega Drive looks great and has a selection on very good titles on it.

Resident Evil still holds its own even today
Resident Evil, step into the shoes of Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield and explore a huge mansion filled with monsters and Zombies! The original Resident Evil seems a bit dated now and the voice acting is quite poor, even so it did set the bench mark for the survival horror series. I recommend this game to anyone who owns a PS1 but the Remake for the GameCube is vastly superior.
